My name is Simeon, and I create music for artistic and cultural projects. My most recent work is producing the music for the performance Born for Nothing by Marieke Heerema, which premiered at Theater Kikker in 2026.
My work moves between different musical worlds. I create electronic soundscapes, beats and sound design, but I also compose more melodic and harmonically driven music influenced by classical and film traditions.
In theatre and dance projects I approach music as part of the storytelling process. Rather than simply accompanying a scene, the music helps shape space, tension and movement.
Alongside composing and producing, I also perform live electronic music using synthesizers and drum machines.
I work from my own studio and collaborate with artists working in theatre, dance and audiovisual media.
